Creating Opportunities for Academic Success

Achieve and Succeed is a 501(3)(c) non-profit corporation organized by a group of responsible, retired educators, servicemembers, and business executives. Our main objective is to neutralize the culture to crime by being proactive in developing young people into productive, tax paying citizens.  We believe that young people who are successful academically and behaviorally with structured, positive activities in the lives are less likely to participate in criminal activity.

At Achieve and Succeed, we are committed to inspiring and supporting the youth to reach their full potential. Through educational programs, mentorship, and engaging, incentivizing physical activities, we aim to equip young individuals with the skills and mindset needed for success.

Our director and co- director, Gregory Brumfield and Glory Davis, are both well-trained educators with more than sixty (60) years of combined service working with youth in the school setting and in the community. A board of directors, mentors, and tutors who are equally competent and devoted to helping our youth are also part of our organizational structure.

Our board members are Milton Gholar, Gwen Smith, Clinton Fraizer, Ella Dupard, Willie McKelton, Gregory Brumfield, Glory Davis, Eloise Brumfield, and Jim Wilkerson

Our tutors, who also function as mentors, are Yolanda Washington, Burdex
Washington, Kenneth Martin, Bruce Sampson, and Ella Dupard

To reiterate, our program uses well-structured, enjoyable incentives designed to motivate positive behavior and outstanding academics, to eliminate the abuse of leisure time, and to combat the deterioration of the community by fighting juvenile delinquency and the culture of crime.
